Shelby Acres offers hands on tours, with hands-on education regarding care, animal health, handling, breeding and nutritional care of sheep and lambs.  Demonstrations of foot care, show readiness, halter training, injections, worming and other health maintenace related topics are provided.

It is suggested you call in advance to arrange for your tour.

Group tours are welcome.

We host quarterly meetings of the Southeastern Dorper Sheep Association, the meetings are open to interested parties.  No fee is required for attendance, demonstrrations and lectures regarding marketing, production, as well as health and disease prevention are provided.
